Description

Cranio-Electro Stimulation (CES) was developed in the Soviet Union in the 1940s for the treatment of insomnia and has since been used by millions of people all over the world.
More than 200 studies conducted to date have shown that CES increases the levels of calming-type neurotransmitters in the brain, namely serotonin and endorphins. Clinical research over the past 50 years shows that CES calms the mind, increases rest, aids sleep, and improves mental freshness and mental abilities in general.

How does CES work?
By altering the electrical and chemical activity of nerve cells in the brainstem, CES increases the activity of certain neurological systems and decreases others.
This neurological “fine-tuning” is called neuromodulation, and it takes effect when a specific pattern of electrical activity appears, known as the alpha state, which can be clearly identified through EEG measurement.
This alpha rhythm accompanies feelings of calm, relaxation, and heightened mental focus.
The neurological mechanisms through which the alpha state occurs reduce the effects of stress, reduce restlessness, stabilize mood, and regulate the perception of pain.
These effects can be produced after just one session, and repeated sessions have been shown to increase the relative strength and duration of the effects.
In some cases, the effects become stable and permanent, indicating that the changes triggered by the electrical and chemical shifts permanently retune
normal functioning.
CES is a method used worldwide, and in the USA it is a Class II medical device recognized and approved by the FDA. According to American surveys, out of more than 100,000 users, not a single case of negative effects or injury has been detected.
